I have heard some things he said….no not in transcript, but on taped tv from yesteryear. And yes, he seemed to talk like a jerk now and again to reporters. But, he wasn’t talking to me – and so I’ll judge him as such.

A generally shy genius who was very creative at the board, hence his intuitive personality trait, often relying on this than deep analysis, although being an exceptionally strong chess player he probably did this as well. Some people argue that there has never been an impressive chess player like Bobby Fischer. As you can see, the myth that depaul university gpa you need a high IQ to become great at chess is just that, a myth. You do not need an above average IQ to become a grandmaster chess player. Sure it does, you may learn the game and excel at a more rapid rate, but it’s really not something to become concerned and dwell on. If you find yourself dwelling on it, you can always improve your IQ.
