Located in an urban setting the park offers gravel roads and pads adjacent to a RV sales and service center. Nothing fancy the location is a suitable place to stay if you need service or are visiting the area. Located on the east shore of Lake Pend Oreille, about 30 miles southwest of Clark Fork.

Situated just outside Sandpoint in Ponderay, Bonner County Fairgrounds is the perfect choice for anybody in town to catch the Bonner County Fair. The campground offers spacious RV and tent sites that come with picnic tables. All RV sites have water and electric hookups with 30/50-amp electricity. There’s a dump station near the entrance, as well as amenities like restrooms and showers. While there’s not much to do around camp, you’ll be within 3 miles of Lake Pend Oreille, which is excellent for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and more.

The largest rec area near Albeni Falls and operated by the Corps of Engineers, Riley Creek is one of the region’s hidden gems. Sat upon the Pend Oreille River, this campground offers tent and RV sites with barkwood pet resort water and electric hookups. Amenities around camp include a dump station, restrooms, showers, and trash pick-up. While at camp, you can challenge a fellow camper to a game of horseshoes or volleyball.

The City of Sandpoint RV Park is a small RV park located adjacent to the City Beach Park. It has 10, 40′ sites with water, sewer and 30A electric, 2, 40′ sites with water, sewer and 50A electric, and 9, 55′ sites with water, sewer and 50A electric. It offers short term rentals only; Mar 1 – Nov 30.

All camping equipment must be located on the campsite impact areas, or if undefined, located 10-15ft from the fire ring and off all vegetation.

One can often just find a good place next to a stream or lake and pitch the tent or sleep under the stars. Often in the summer months the northern sky offers up one of natures most spectacular light shows- Aurora Borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights are truly one of the most spectacular shows nature will provide campers in the region. The pros, the view from the beach is beautiful. If you aren’t into the camping experience and hanging outside you’re rig it’s conveniently located by shops and restaurants. This parking lot was taken over by the city from the Best Western across the road a year ago.

Offers 82 units, 22′ trailer spaces, dump station, a great covered picnic area, boat ramp and dock. Keep an eye out for deer, wild turkey and campers having fun. Located 17 miles east of Sandpoint on highway 200. This tent only campground is about 15 miles south of Sandpoint on Garfield Bay road. There are eleven spaces, with swimming, hiking, toilets and no fee.
