Here’s how to find all of the Foundation’s collectables. Halo Infinite’s second mission includes four collectibles, one of which is a Cowbell skull hidden in a grappleshot platforming section. This guide will show where to find all the collectibles in the Foundation mission of Halo Infinite.

In 2021, she was offered a full-time position on the PC Gamer team where she takes every possible opportunity to talk about World of Warcraft and Elden Ring. When not writing guides, most of her spare time is spent in Azeroth—though she’s quite partial to JRPGs too. One of her fondest hopes is to one day play through the ending of Final Fantasy wow tbc combat rogue leveling guide X without breaking down into a sobbing heap. There are said to be 45 Spartan Cores waiting to be found in Halo Infinite. Some of them will be very obviously presented to you as you progress through the main story, but others are hidden around the Halo Infinite open world map. You’ll see it on the floor, next to the elevator power cell.

The UNSC Audio Log collectible is on the ground to the left of the power seed. If you want to see something cool, drop the power seed near the crucible and proceed to the ramp on the east side of the room and walk down. Then take a left into the open door and pass through the hallway. If you can make out the structure on the Cylix, you’ll know why. There’s nothing to do in there, but it’s a neat pitstop. You’ll have to activate an elevator during the mission and you’ll need to find a power seed to get it working.

At the end of the bridge, you will find the audio log near the power seed. Until you reach the open-ended area at the start of Act 2, there is no way to return to previous levels. And there are some incredibly easy-to-miss collectibles right at the start. Audio Logs are great, but it’s the Skulls we’re all after. To get these audio logs, stand next to the big ring and interact with it.

During the ‘Follow the Signal’ objective, you will have a cutscene with Cortana. After that, ascend on the blue platform as shown below. In the room where the bridge was constructed, toward the back, players will find a metal wall with a sort of cross. Master Chief will need to grapple up the wall and head straight. Halo Infiniteis the first game in the series to feature an open world. Players can take on side quests, participate in secondary activities, and even learn more about the legend behind Halo in this new version. In the Foundation station, there’s a cowbell collectible skull modifier, a banished audio log, and two UNSC audio logs to be found. While the skull increases debris acceleration from explosions, the audio logs will reveal story content and lore. Halo Infinite has various collectibles scattered throughout the game world, including audio logs, skulls and Spartan Cores. The game’s second mission sends Master Chief to the Foundation, where he must make his way to the surface of the Ring.

She wasn’t designed to proceed beyond her primary mission, so she’s going to have to do some learning along the way. If you’re playing on Legendary, we recommend picking off any of the Jackals and Grunts you see from the outside hallway before entering the next room on the second floor. Use the Grappleshot to hop up to the second floor and approach the next door. You’ll come to a long, large corridor that’s partially broken. Proceed and you’ll come across two Grunts and a Jackal. As you walk forward to kill them you can also kill two more Grunts and Jackal across the gap from your platform.

The Disruptor isn’t ideal to use in small skirmishes, but it can be helpful surprisingly helpful when taking on enemies with big health bars, heavy armor, or powerful shields. Inside the room, you’ll see more Jackals and Grunts, potentially a Brute, and for sure two Elites in the back of the room. Take out the smaller ones first before moving on to the Elites. Again, plasma weapons are great for taking out their shields, but kinetic weapons, like the Mangler, will do faster damage to them. You can always use the grappleshot to pull yourself to your enemy and land the finishing blow. Until mid-2022 but, if nothing else, that might be an excuse to revisit the campaign and mop up any stuff you missed.

There are three audio logs in Halo Infinite within the Foundation. The first of these comes automatically so should not be a problem. The second one, named “Banished Escharum’s Testimony,” will be near a doorway in one of the large halls. Make your way forward through the level until you reach the large red room with a bunch of Grunts and a console you need to place a Power Core in. Locate the console then run directly behind it to a doorway. Go through the doorway and down the hall until you find a long bridge platform.

You can see the exact stats and upgrade for it in the Tac Menu. There’s one by the support beam/piller on the middle east side of the room . Once you can safely ascend the higher platform you’ll need to finish off three more Jackals and four more Grunts. At least four patrolling Grunts are at the front of the room along with one Elite.
