Fascinated with weird ambient and dreamy sounds, Eeman started exploring electronic music production and recorded a few songs which were released online.
Paincake’s first LP ’Digital Breakfast’ was released for free with nine tracks heavily influenced by 8bit and chiptune artists. https://soundcloud.com/paincake-patrol/sets/digital-breakfast
After a year, the second LP ‘Leftover Battles’ was released with twelve new tracks exploring even more genres like jazz and classical. https://soundcloud.com/paincake-patrol/sets/leftover-battles
In 2013, Paincake Patrol stopped producing songs after undergoing challenges in life. After a year of working things out t, Paincake returned in 2014 to produce another LP called, ‘Concurrent’. The LP features 11 new songs with heavier influences of trance, EDM, dub step, trap, and disco. https://soundcloud.com/paincake-patrol/sets/concurrent
Paincake’s musical influences root from early 90’s pop punk and grunge. Being a heavy listener of Smashing Pumpkins and Muse, Eeman has always been a big fan of non traditional sounding music. When he discovered the Postal Service and Owl City, Eeman suddenly came up with the idea of creating a solo project similar to these artists.
After four years of just releasing songs, Paincake Patrol decided to take things more seriously and started playing out live gigs in 2015. Now trying to let more people hear his music, Paincake Patrol is in the middle of producing and releasing a new EP this year in collaboration with other artists Paincake has encountered over his time in the scene.
What Are Your Goals In The Music Industry?
To create music that reflects how I feel and hope it somehow connects to people who are similar to me.
What inspires you to make music?
Life in general. I think music is one of the reasons why life is a little more tolerable.
Who were your musical inspirations growing up?
I grew up listening to pop music like everyone, then through out the years I came to like punk and grundge music. Smashing Pumpkins and Muse are heavy influences when it comes to sound creation.
Are You Working On Any New Projects?
Yup. I am going to release an EP in collaboration with other artists hopefully this December. Then, maybe I’ll try to run a tour or something to share the music.
