Sabotage X – Elohim

I was born in Springfield Illinois but reside in Las Vegas. Ever since my first Casset tape I believe I was a rap artist. Do or Die Po pimpin was my very first single. I was very young and probably should have not been listening to that song at all and most of the lyrics I didn’t understand at that young of an age. However, I knew every word even Twista’s verse. I developed my skills by listening to music everywhere I went, First thing in the Morning and before bed. As I got to be a Sophomore in High school I wrote my very first rap. I had a buddy that showed me his rap and I told him tomorrow Ill have my verse. From then On I wrote everyday for 5 to 7 years straight perfecting the craft. I’ve been through a lot of talent spaces but never had an opportunity to be signed to a major label. But As time past I felt like that was the best thing that could have happen to me because I am free to create what ever I want and still be an artist.

What inspires you to make music?
Any thing inspires me really. A simple conversation, a F’ed up exchange with somebody, to listening to great beats and a dope artist.

Tell us about this project?
Elohim is about me being absent from music for a few years and resurrecting from my hibernation. Coming back with lyrical heat and inspiring others

Who were your musical inspirations growing up?
My musical inspirations. There were many but I think the 3 most influential in my day was Do or Die, Bone thug, and Tech N9ne

Are You Working On Any New Projects?
Finished up with Sabator Dali album trying to promote that but I am also seating on another album

How long have you been creating music?
I’ve been creating music for over fifteen years

Do you want to say anything to the people who support your music?
Just wanted to say Thank you of course all who continued to support me and thank you to any new fans. Much love

Polo500 is back with another mixtape titled, “Slab Music 2.” Now, with Slab Music Vol. 1 Polo500 set the bar high so I already had high expectations for this mixtape. Polo500 exceeded my expectations and managed to raise the bar one more knotch with Slab Music 2. If you are a fan of Polo500 then you already know how lyrical he is. He continues that trend with this mixtape. Every verse Polo500 spits is creative, catchy, and will make you think. Also, the more you listen to Polo500 the more bars you catch. He is a true lyricist. He has perfected the art of songwriting and continues to get better. Polo500 is one of the hardest workers in the game and you can expect greatness from him before it’s all said and done. Up and coming Pop Star Edwrds showed up to the IndieNation Live First Class Fest at SXSW and brought the house down with his hit single, “Daddy’s Girl.” Edwrds is from Long Island New York and brings tons of energy with his performance. From his dancing, to fun catchy songs Edwrds can bring a house down! I was highly impressed with Edwrds stage presence and his overall comfort level at such a young age. Edwrds creates fun music. Edwrds music will put a smile on your face. He gives off positive vibes and is extremely humble to be so young and talented. His best days are surely ahead of him.

Edwrds is releasing a new project on April 26 titled, “Water” and I cannot wait!

I fully expect Edwrds to finish the year strong. I could see him spreading his positive vibes and rocking stages while he continues to fine tune his craft. Keep an eye out for Edwrds he is an artist on the rise!

With the release of their self-titled EP, The Ten Year Program takes the best parts of a few classic genres and breeds a sound all their own. Lush with hard hitting progressions, an edgy songwriting style, and an honest, upfront lyrical approach, the record boasts the aesthetic of alternative rock anthems. The first single, “Ambien Wet Dreams”, grabs with its infectious intro, riddled with ambient synth work and progressive drumming, letting you know things are about to get intense, followed quickly by its passionate vocals, providing the songs main hook with major pop sensibility. Most important though, is the songs ability to build and breathe as it plays on- a signature of TYP’s sound throughout the EP. “’Ambien Wet Dreams’ captures TYP’s epic sound perfectly, marked by layered guitars, atmospheric synths, layered vocals and a generally large sound, but it also serves as the most upbeat song on the EP. It will give listeners the perfect taste of what’s on the EP, but with slightly more pop appeal. “It is a love song; like when life feels so good you can’t sleep… it doesn’t get any better than that”, explains the songwriter Ian Richards of the single’s lyrics and mood of the song. Although the singles do speak volumes for the EP, to get a real understanding for where The Ten Year Program is coming from, it should be heard in its entirety. “I have always enjoyed writing songs that sounded big. I like writing songs that I think people will want to hear while still staying true to my vision as an artist. TYP marks the first time that as a songwriter, I was able to match my musical vision with my expectations of the final product. And I think that comes off in the sound of the EP. TYP doesn’t sound like any other band, it doesn’t sound like anything you can really name. Yes, it’s alternative rock of some scope, but ultimately it’s our musical vision as artists; it’s our unique take on alternative rock.”, says Richards about creating the record.
Tell us about this project?
The Ten year Program is a project brought to fruition by two longtime friends and musical partners. Ian Richards who produced engineered, wrote, and recorded the music, and Jack McCracken who sings on all the songs. Having a wide range of musical influence, including bands like Glassjaw, Deftones, and Far, helped lay the stepping stones for some of the music while having others like Sunny Day Real Estate, Pearl Jam and early Jimmy Eat World push through as counterpoints. Having a dynamic and emotional vocal style enables the band’s sound to have a unique flavor all of its own. “One of my priorities in producing the EP was to flesh out the melodies and perfect the harmonies in the studio. I believe as a producer, that the vocals are really the most important thing, and I made a conscious effort to make sure that Jack had the time to work through his melodies and harmonies, and deliver a performance on each song which best captured his intent and emotions while adding another layer to the sound we were going for as a whole”, says Richards. Richards and McCracken met in their high school years and started collaborating musically when they started their first punk rock band dubbed “The Machine”. The two realized straight on that there was something special in the seamless way they were able to work together on a musical level, and went on to record two records produced by Chad Ginsburg of CKY. After some success, they decided to move on to new things and put together a new band with friends Sean McGuigan and Colin Frangicetto (now of Circa Survive fame). After some time, the project dissipated due to Colin focusing on other projects. From there, the two moved on to work in several other projects including a band called Drive Without; working with NY hardcore legend Sammy Siegler on a 5 song EP, which Sammy produced and helped engineer. Eventually this project too broke up after some time leaving Ian frustrated. Not only due to the eventual dissipation and break up of projects and bands, but also because he felt that many of these projects didn’t allow him to have the creative control he really wanted. Finally, he decided to create a project that allowed him to write music the way he wanted. Armed with years of experience in writing, and recording, Ian put together songs and reached out to Jack for vocals. This was to be a two man project with no interference. It was then that The Ten year Program was finally born. The Self titled release is a testament to where they are at with their sound right now. The Ten year Program will be available for streaming and downloads on most major digital outlets in December and the band is already working on new material for future releases.
What inspires you to make music?
We have a natural innate desire to be creative but ultimately for us it’s about the fans. We enjoy writing music that will evoke some type of feeling in our fans when they hear it. I know for myself, hearing one song that I love can completely change my mood, my day and ultimately how I feel about myself. That’s what we want to accomplish with our music.
How long have you been creating music?
Jack and I have been writing and playing together in various bands for over 15 years. The Ten Year Program marks the first time he and have been able to write together with complete control and say over song composition and production.
Who were your musical inspirations growing up?
We grew up seeing the end of the grunge explosion, the punk rock and hardcore revival and the birth of emo. Mix in a little metal and those are our influences and what we listened to growing up.
Are You Working On Any New Projects?
We are writing new material for the Ten Year Program.
Do you want to say anything to the people who support your music?
Thank you! We hope listening to our music makes our fans have a better day, it’s that simple. We also hope the lyrics force them to think about life, relationships and existence in general in from a new perspective.

Autumn wrote (or co-wrote) the lyrics to some of the group’s biggest hits such as “Glo Up” and “One Chance”. However, after a successful 3-year run, the group disbanded in 2016. After a two-year hiatus, Autumn embarked upon her career as a solo artist. She released her first solo single “I Miss You” in August, 2018. Soon after, she dropped her debut solo EP entitled “XOXO” featuring the singles “Birthday” & “Dangerous”. The infectious rhythms, melodies & harmonies combine to create a unique ambiance which sets her sound apart from others in her genre. Always considered a talented songwriter, Autumn Jeannette has written all of the lyrics to her solo songs. The result is a collection of songs from the heart, that is more real, more relatable and more relevant to today’s listeners. Autumn is also a Sophomore at Howard University. Check out this rising Super-Star, Autumn Jeannette today! https://open.spotify.com/artist/33gynXNzaLs9NSR9FJEWpB What inspires you to make music? To me music is a way to express my emotions and connect on a deeper level with my fans by giving them an inside look into my life. Tell us about this project? XOXO is my first solo project. When I wrote the project I wanted to be a love letter that explained every stage of a relationship. Each is song is different and has it’s own vibe. There is something for everybody on the EP. Who were your musical inspirations growing up? Growing up my musical inspirations were Michael Jackson and Franck Ocean however when I got older I fell in love with Pia Mia, Jhene Aiko and Bavvi. Are You Working On Any New Projects? I have a few projects in mind however my focus is releasing singles and videos. I want to make sure XOXO gets get’s its shine. How long have you been creating music? I have been in the music industry since I was 14 years old. I started in the 5 girl singing group WeRcharm. Through that experience I was able to work with likes of Timberland, Jazzy Phae, Teddy Riley, Kodie Shane and more. Once of my favorite experiences was opening up for mindless behavior. Do you want to say anything to the people who support your music? To the people who support me I would like to say you mean the most to me and I will be forever grateful that I have been able to touch you in some way. Can you walk us through the creative process for making the Dangerous video? When my team and I decided to make a video for Dangerous we wanted to do something different. We did not just want to tell a basic love story. But my mom came up with the idea of me being a spy. That idea evolved into me interrogating my love interest after catching him with another woman. My main concern was showing my growth as an artist. Now I am 20 and wanted to show that in the video. How do you balance being a full time student at Howard University and pursue your music career? Time management is the key to success. And having great people on your team is a must. It can be difficult but it’s necessary. It can be very, very stressful, but it’s all worth it. When you have a dream you do what it takes to succeed. Twitter: @theyfall4autumn Instagram: @theyfall4autumn[/wr_text][/wr_column][/wr_row]
