What inspires you to make music?
Music to me is a universal language that is relatable to almost anyone. The power that music holds is undeniable. No matter what language or genre , you can always feel the emotion, spirit and love that was put into a song or a body of work as a whole. The way that music is linked to so many memories , emotions and more is powerful and that what i want to resonate with my music. I tell a story with my music and you never know who is going through the same situations that you are. Music saves lives and thats what inspires & drives me to continue to make it.

The name of this song is One More Try. It is about that point in the relationship when you realize that you are about to loose the one you love and you are literally begging for that one last chance. So in that moment you replay all the things you love about this person and admitting your wrongs. Shout out to Petey Griff who also blessed this track with his verse. You can find him on IG at sarcastic.gringo.

Who were your musical inspirations growing up?
My musical inspirations growing up was Mariah Carey and Usher. Mariah is queen of billboard and that vocal range is undeniable. Usher’s presence in R&B music is undeniable as well. Lyrically as well Wu-Tang Clan is an immense inspiration. 36 Chambers is my favorite hip-hop album.

Are You Working On Any New Projects?
Yes I am currently working on my first mixtape titled “On The Corner Of Giles & Rose” it is a concept mixtape about chasing your high school crush for 7 years, getting with them and loosing to end up learning a life lesson in the process. The purpose of my mixtape isn’t to not only broadcast my songwriting skills and vocal talent but to also teach the lesson I was taught to someone else making the same mistake I did.

How long have you been creating music?
I want to say about 2 to 3 years now with progress finally happening now.

Well this song is titled You’re Mine. It features another another CT rapper that goes by the name Dens. Those of you interested in his work his IG is densupthestreet. It is a love song about how finally getting the person you desired for so long makes you feel. All the butterflies , and cliches is all you feel when first falling in love. I wanted to audibly manifest these emotions into this song. I just wanted this to be a feel good, bop of a song that instantly puts a smile on your face and makes you move your feet.

Tom the Lyricist, formerly known as T-Trace, but now goes by Joey Tre’, is an aspiring hip-hop artist from Chicago, Illinois. He is a true lyricist to the core and contains sounds in his music and flow that blends together both the old and new styles of hip-hop; serving as a bridge between the two and creating the best of both worlds. He has always displayed an interest in music even at a young age and has been greatly influenced over the years by a number of artists, consisting of: Kendrick Lamar, Nas, J Cole, Eminem, Tupac, Biggie, Kanye, Jay-Z, Rakim, Nate Dogg, Black Thought, Nelly, Chance the Rapper, Outkast, and N.W.A. Some of his R&B influences are Tyrese, Craig David, Luther Vandross, Carl Thomas, Stevie Wonder, RKelly, and Brian McKnight.

From storytelling, to rhyme schemes, to cleverly implemented wordplay, Tom continues to exercise his versatility in music. He can progress rather quickly in only a small amount of time, and is always looking for new and innovative ways to improve his craft and take it to the next level. As a hard worker, Joey Tre is always on the go and planning out his next move in order to push his career along even further. His versatility shows especially with this new track that brings out the R&B side of him & it serves as a breath of fresh air from his usual style of music.

“I’m always working on something 24/7. My new material soon becomes old to me because I’m constantly writing and working on new songs every other day. I have a good team backing me up and supporting me to keep going hard with this music and I have no intention of slowing up anytime soon. Every time I release a new project, best believe I’m already a quarter of the way done with my next.”

What inspires you to make music?
I’m mainly influenced/inspired by a number of artists in the game: Kendrick, J Cole, Em, Pac, Nas, Chance (just to name a few) & I also take inspiration from my supporters as well. They inspire me to inspire them through my music & I hope to have a positive influence on everyone that gets within ear shot of my music.

“Sunset Vibes” is the second single from my upcoming project: “Cut From the Same Cloth”. It consists of a short snippet of the track on SoundCloud that gives off a different kind of vibe from my other tracks & is easily the most diverse track on the album. Taking inspiration from artists such as Craig David & Luther Vandross, “Sunset Vibes” contains music that could be reminiscent of that old 90’s/early 00’s R&B feel, proving that it is still possible to make music about appreciating women for who they are fully & depicting them in a positive light as opposed to a lot of music today that only seems to either degrade or objectify them. The full song will be up on all digital sites (iTunes, Spotify, etc.) in a matter of weeks.

Are You Working On Any New Projects?
I plan to release the album “Cut From the Same Cloth” in the ending summer/beginning fall of 2017 & I’ll also be starting on my second album “Eye of the Storm” which is slated to come out in early 2019.

How long have you been creating music?
I’ve been doing this since 2013. Technically, I’ve been rapping since I was in middle school, but I didn’t really start taking it seriously until around the year 2013. Released my first big single “Back in Action” & from there on, my journey as an artist officially began.

Azia adelle is back with her new single “Main Chick”, and this isn’t your typical love song. This new upbeat vibe she is bringing is quite impressive. This just shows that Azia has more to offer than your typical ballad. Her versitility continues to amaze us, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
